+A long Antique guard chain from the late Victorian era made up of small, faceted cable links fashioned in 9ct Gold. They lead to a large claw clasp at the end which was usually used to attach a pocket watch or a cylinder of fur known as a muff to keep the wearer’s hands warm in winter.
It’s of a very high quality and can be worn as one long necklace or looped twice around the neck.
